Chief Executive Officer
Anthony Nantes has a proven track record in technology and business innovation across
multiple sectors. Prior to being the Chief Executive Officer of Wisr, Mr
Nantes was the Chief Operating Officer at fintech Prospa, an online lender focusing
on the SME market. During his tenure there, Deloitte recognized the company as the
fastest growing technology company in Australia. He has also held various senior
leadership roles such as; Director of Sales, Marketing and Innovation at UXC (now
CSC), Director of Professional Services at UXC Consulting, and Chief Executive
Officer at Planpower, an Australian IT company. Anthony also previously served as
Executive Chairman for Weave.org.au, (having served on the Board since 2009), a 29
year old non-profit organisation based in Sydney.
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew has over 15 years experience in the financial services industry, including investment
banking and principal investment with Macquarie Capital, as well as having worked across Europe and Asia.
Prior to Wisr, Andrew was partner at Draycap, a secondary private equity and infrastructure firm,
and preceded his time at Macquarie Capital at FontEnergy and in particular KPMG where he was
focussed on assurance and advisory for the Financial Services sector.
Chief Operating Officer
Mathew brings a wealth of financial services experience twinned with a deep technology background where he started his career as an IT management consultant with Accenture. Mathew has also worked in Hong Kong and Singapore with Standard Chartered Bank and is adept at leading the delivery of large scale transformational changes. Prior to joining Wisr, Mathew was with the Commonwealth Bank as Executive Manager for the Retail and Commercial Credit Cards business. Mathew holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW.
Chief Risk Officer
Peter is a senior business executive with over twenty five years global banking, finance and project delivery experience gained with leading international investment banks Citibank, UBS AG, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO. Peter brings to Wisr a broad set of customer acquisition and client sales leadership skills along with deep experience transitioning high volume financial products businesses from traditional channels to online, straight through processing models. Peter has fulfilled Board roles with a variety of Australian infrastructure companies and international companies. Peter holds a B. Sc (Hons. 1st) from Sydney University and a MBA from MIT-Sloan School, Cambridge, MA. USA. Peter is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Fund Portfolio Manager
Ray has over 20 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry. He holds a BA (Hons) in Computer Studies from the HK Polytechnic University and an MBA majoring in investment and finance. He worked for INVESCO from 1992 to 2002 in Hong Kong and Sydney where he managed IT infrastructure. From 2002 he headed the IT function within a boutique funds management company and managed the automation of the investment processes. He became the fund manager in 2007 and oversaw a number of their investment funds.
Chief Technology Officer
David is a software engineer with over 15 years' professional experience across a variety of industry sectors. He spent eight years' with IRESS working on real-time trading systems and internal software tools, and three years' consulting with growing digital technology-based firms such as Catch Group, Rockend Technology, and CMYKHub, developing unique websites and mobile apps. He graduated from University of Melbourne with Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) in 2002.
Marianne has over 18 years’ experience in various credit and lending roles with Westpac Banking Group. Her experience covered unsecured lending products and the specific policies and procedures underpinning them. At a national level, Marianne managed the hindsight review process for consumer personal loans and credit cards across the Westpac Group (Westpac, St George Bank, Bank SA and Bank of Melbourne).
